Terms of Service

1. The service

TAIL turns your pet photos into a Windows desktop pet app (the "work"). Flow: upload photos → free preview → pay and pick a plan → production → delivery of an installer.

2. Free preview

• Each account gets 3 free previews (swap photos and retry if it is off).
• Previews are low-resolution, watermarked still images meant only to check likeness; the final work is high-resolution without watermark.
• Previews are generated automatically. We do our best but cannot guarantee likeness every time; if it is off, you do not pay.

3. Plans and prices

The three plans (Starter, Companion, Full) and their prices are as shown on the site at checkout. Taiwan is billed in TWD, elsewhere in USD. Prices include payment fees; your bank may add currency conversion charges.

4. Payment

Payments are collected by Polar (Merchant of Record), which issues the receipt/invoice to your email. We never receive your card number.

5. Production and delivery

• Production starts after payment and normally completes within 7 business days; progress is visible on the site.
• The work is delivered as an installer to your sign-in email. Windows 10/11 only for now.
• The work is made from your photos and hand-adjusted by us; small differences from the photos are normal.

6. Refunds

• Before production starts (no move marked as started): full refund on request by email.
• After production starts: no refund, since every pet is made to order.
• If we cannot deliver, or delivery is more than 14 days past the promised time: full refund.
• Refunds go back through Polar to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.

7. Your photos and the work

• You confirm the photos show your own pet and you have the right to use them.
• You keep all rights to your photos; you license us to use them only to make your work.
• The work is for your personal, non-commercial use on your own computers. No resale or repackaging.
• We will not show your work or photos as examples on the site without your separate consent.

8. Not allowed

No photos of other people, celebrities, copyrighted characters or non-pets; no abuse of free previews (multiple accounts, automated submissions). We may suspend such accounts without refund.

9. Liability

The work is provided as is. If your computer setup (antivirus, OS version) blocks installation we will help, but our liability is capped at the amount you paid.
