Privacy Policy

In plain words: we only take your Google email and the pet photos you upload. Photos are used to make your pet and then deleted. We never train AI on them or sell them. Payments are handled by Polar; we never see your card.

1. Who runs this service

TAIL (petthatstays.com) is run by TAIL (an individual, not a company). Contact: hello@petthatstays.com.

2. What we collect

Account: when you sign in with Google we receive your email, name and avatar. Used only to identify your orders and notify you.
Pet data: the pet's name, species (cat/dog), sex, and the photos you upload.
Order data: plan, chosen moves, payment status and time. Amount and payment result are reported to us by Polar; we never receive your card number.
Technical data: ordinary server logs (IP, browser, time) used to prevent abuse. No advertising trackers.

3. How photos are used

Photos are used only to make your own pet: you see a preview first, and production starts only after you approve it.
During production, photos are processed by the AI image service we use (servers located outside Taiwan). Under that service's terms, processed data is not used to train their models.
We do not train models on your photos, publish them, or share them with third parties for any other purpose.
Photos and intermediate files are deleted within 30 days after the order is complete; unpaid preview orders are deleted after 30 days. You can ask us to delete them immediately at any time.

4. Where data lives

Accounts, orders, photos: Supabase (database and file storage, region: Tokyo, Japan). Photos are in private storage readable only by you and our production tools.
Payments: Polar (Merchant of Record), see polar.sh/legal/privacy.
Website hosting: Cloudflare Pages.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember a half-filled form. No third-party advertising cookies.

6. Your rights

Email hello@petthatstays.com at any time to see what data we hold, correct it, or delete your account and photos. We respond within 7 business days. After deletion, paid orders keep the minimum transaction records required by tax law (never photos).

7. Minors

The service requires payment and is meant for adults. Data of minors submitted without guardian consent will be deleted when found.

8. Changes

Changes update the date on this page. Material changes are emailed to users who have signed in.
